  1. JB says:

Dear Writers SA. Why are you requiring attendees to SA libraries to be fully vaccinated when this is not a requirement of the libraries themselves?
In fact, why are Writers SA enforcing vaccination policies for any of your events given what we no know about the inefficacy of the vaccines and their inability to stop transmission, and that fact that there is no requirement upon businesses and organisations to enforce such policies?
This seems especially nonsensical for outdoor events.
    Kind regards,

Thanks for your question JB. All of our in-person events are indoors, in close environments for many hours at a time. For the safety and health of our community (many of whom are in more at-risk age groups) we have put this policy in place, with evidence that vaccination lowers the risk of transmitting the virus. We also hold many events and workshops online which you can find here: https://writerssa.org.au/program/workshops/
