From November 2025, as we come to the end of our 40th year, we invite you to become a Friend of Writers SA.
Community is vital to our writing sector: writers, publishers of all types, booksellers, librarians, teachers and readers can and do build it together.
Open to all those who love writing and want to connect and support writing across South Australia.
Writers SA Friends are supporters of a broad and diverse ecology of writing across the State. They value writers and writing and understand that for our sector to thrive we need to work together to deliver a range of opportunities for professional development and engagement.
As a Friend of Writers SA you will be part of a community who are invited to gather and share in person and online across the year. You will be ensuring that we can deliver our program including public events, professional development opportunities and pathways to publishing. You will receive our regular e-news with information on SA activities, opportunities and sector updates.
We suggest a minimum donation of $40.00 to help us meet our $40,000 Forward From Forty campaign target for 2026.
However, we're grateful for every donation - all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
