Writing the “Other”
How do we ensure that our writing reflects the sensitivities of contemporary Australian society and its diverse communities? Dr Renée Otmar will explore what it means to write sensitively with and about diversity, with time for Q&A, free for members.

Writing Wednesdays
A recent initiative, Writing Wednesdays is a free weekly writing space for Writers SA members at all levels. It connects writers in the local community, and provides a quiet space in the Institute Building where you can get writing using the Pomodoro technique.

Come along to our networking drinks for a night of literary conversation at The Howling Owl, it’s also a great chance to meet Laura Kroetsch, Writers SA’s new CEO! Free event for our community, includes a drink token and nibbles.
