Meet our two new team members

We’re thrilled to have two brand new team members on board at Writers SA, bringing their own creativity, personality (and playlists) to the office. Get to know them:

Bronwyn Tilley
Program Coordinator

Bronwyn Tilley (writing as Bronwyn Stuart) is a multi-published award-winning author of both contemporary and historical romantic fiction. Her latest novel She’s The One is based on the television show, The Bachelor, and reveals her love of all things ridiculously OTT, including reality TV programs where contestants make fools of themselves in their pursuit of a possible happily-ever-after (or their five minutes of notoriety and talk-show spot after). Her regency novel, The Road to Ruin, was printed in a duo with a Stephanie Laurens story ticking an exciting box on her writing bucket list. Bronwyn is represented by Moe Ferrara of Bookends Literary Agency, New York.

Bronwyn is a skilled public speaker and MC. She appeared at the Clare Writers Festival and on several publishing panels around the country. From 2016 to 2018 Bronwyn programmed and managed conferences for Romance Writers of Australia as well as sitting on the committee for the not-for-profit for two of those years. Her non-writing jobs have included: retail manager, office manager, call centre worker, checkout chick and other not-so exciting positions.

Bronwyn and her collection of shoes reside in the Adelaide hills along with her husband, kids, dogs, cat and lovebirds, where she writes romantic stories from her renovated caravan office.

You can find her stories where all good books are sold or links from her website Alternatively, you can hit her up on the usual socials – Bronwyn Stuart Romance Author.

Quickfire Q&A

What are you reading right now?
I just finished the The Master & Margarita – no idea why it took me so long to get to, but what a joy. Talking cats! Witches! Multiple plotlines! So many Russian names! Please everyone read it, and then talk to me about it, because I have feelings.

What are you writing right now?
These interview questions. But also, a nonfiction piece on eating in Italy (two of my favourite subjects), as well as my first novel.

What are you looking forward to in the autumn program?
Can I say everything? Everything. But, a few highlights: Writing Historical Fiction with Hannah Kent will no doubt be amazing, Food Writing with Katie Spain, and I’m also looking forward to getting it together with Jessica Alice.

Pen or PC?
A little from column A, a little from column B. But my handwriting’s mostly undecipherable when I write at speed, so usually my mac.

Best writing snack?
Coffee. MixMax when I want to bring out the big guns, they’re the perfect writing reward/ motivation for meeting writing goals.
