A self-help group for writers of speculative fiction and fantasy, Ad Astra is aimed at getting its members published. Our main activity is the critiquing of pieces submitted by two of our members each month. To provide sufficient opportunity for members to receive feedback on their work, our membership is limited to 12 at any one time.
Membership is free but we do ask members to commit to their writer development by attending (including a 10-minute writing exercise), providing apologies in advance, setting a personal goal each month, and taking turns as the monthly moderator or minute-taker.
