Join poet and author Ali Cobby Eckermann for a poetic workshop drawing in nature, feeling and purpose to explore words and creativity.

sit. look. feel. heal.

This is the essence of the liminal verse novel She Is The Earth by Ali Cobby Eckermann. In this workshop Ali is requesting participants to bring a visual memory or a connection to nature that resonates from a poignant chapter in time. She will lead an exploration of words, building on emotive memory to seek a picturesque exposure of ourselves within the beauty and challenges of our current world.

If you're unsure what to bring, it can be a photograph, a pressed flower, a small branch from a bush or tree, a gumnut even.

We will have access to an outdoor space, weather permitting, for breakouts. Digital devices are welcome, but must be fully charged.

Best suited to writers with a love and understanding of poetry and verse.

This event is funded by Green Adelaide and presented by Writers SA. It is strictly capped to 20 participants.
