Australia’s beloved short story festival is coming back to Adelaide this November!

The festival will be held at the Fullarton Park Community Centre from Friday the 21st of November – Sunday the 23rd of November. Save the date in your calendars and join us for a weekend of workshops, panel discussions, literary debates and creative readings with storytelling masters from across Australia as well as South Australia’s best local established and emerging writers. The Australian Short Story Festival is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help us out across a weekend of workshops and storytelling at the Fullarton Park Community Centre from November 21st-23rd, 2025. Volunteers do not have to be available across all three days, but will be thanked for their time with free access to the entire programme of events.
