Are you an artist with a disruptive, creative interesting idea you would like to pitch to a panel of arts, cultural and business leaders to be considered for one of five $5k ArtsPitch grants? Are you an emerging, practising professional artist with a limited history of grant funding through Arts South Australia or Carclew?
Have you struggled to overcome systemic barriers to entry? If this sounds like you, read on…
The ArtsPitch grant is a new initiative that aims to encourage innovative ideas and support creative risk taking while providing a different access pathway to Arts South Australia’s investment in individual artists to advance the realisation of their creative ideas.
Applying for an ArtsPitch grant will give you a unique chance to pitch your idea and share your vision and creative intent with a hand-picked, skilled and experienced panel from across the arts and business sectors. Members of the panel will not just consider the pitches for the grants, they will also provide mentoring and support to successful applicants.
Applying for an ArtsPitch grant is easy. You will be required to submit a brief Expression of Interest (EOI) using the ArtsPitch application form. EOIs will be assessed against the criteria and shortlisted artists will be invited to make their pitch.
This program will fund new and emerging individual artists, support the development of new artistic work and bring creative and innovative ideas to fruition.
Please note: Arts South Australia will host a Q&A session on Friday, 29 January 2016 at St Paul’s Creative Centre to inform your EOI application preparation. To register your attendance, email [email protected]
