Victoria Purman writes contemporary romance fiction set on the south coast of her home state of South Australia, a place she knows well and loves beyond compare.
She has signed a three book contract with Harlequin Australia and the first book in her Boys of Summer trilogy – entitled Nobody But Him – will be on the shelves and on reading devices in October. Victoria has a BA (Journalism) and began her career at the ABC in Adelaide as a radio and television journalist, and television producer. Since then, she’s been a media manager in the public sector, a publicist, a freelance journalist, a political adviser, a speechwriter to a Premier, and a consultant editor.
She is a member of the Carclew Youth Arts Board. She is also a proud member of Romance Writers of Australia, an Associate Member of the Australian Society of Authors, and a longtime member of the Media, Arts and Entertainment Alliance. While Victoria has spent her working life writing words for real people, she now very much enjoys creating dialogue and happy-ever-afters for her imaginary heroines and their heroes. When she’s not writing, she spends time with her husband, three sons, a disobedient dog, her loving extended family and many dear friends. She hasn’t managed to conquer her addiction to chocolate or South Australia’s finest wines and is still determined to learn how to surf.
