Neil Mackenzie

I’m an author who didn’t grow up loving books. At school, I didn’t have a novel in hand. I was into comics and short stories—writing that got to the point and stayed with you. What I did love were words. As a songwriter, I love the rhythm they create when you line them up just right. The Hornets’ Nest is my first novel, and I am currently working on its sequel and blogging about the journey.
