Charlie is an educator and writer. Her debut YA novel, Mallee Boys(2017), was a 2018 CBCA Honour book. Indigo Owl(2020) is a fast paced speculative fiction adventure. The Sugar Cane Kids and the Red Bottomed Boat, was shortlist for the Text Prize and will be out June 2022. Charlie is comfortable and skilled presenting for children. She is available for speaking events and mentoring projects.
