Caitlin O’Toole is a journalist, writer, editor, and content creator from New York City, now based in South Australia.

With more than 30 years’ experience, she has written news, features, and personal essays on everything from politics to pop culture for publications including The New York Times, People, Parade, MTV, and news.com.au.

Caitlin’s work spans journalism, memoir, digital storytelling, editing, and content creation. She is completing a memoir exploring mental illness, identity, family, and resilience.

She has extensive experience helping individuals, organisations, and communities shape compelling stories, and has worked across the media, not-for-profit, ageing, health, and community sectors.

Caitlin is available for editing, manuscript assessments, ghostwriting, mentoring, speaking engagements, workshops, and freelance writing projects.
