In just a quick 8,000 words, this little book will equip you with the knowledge you need to successfully publish your book.
The Little Book of Big Publishing Tips goes into the essentials of self-publishing a book, outlining the business and financial side of publishing, legal issues, design, editing, sales and marketing. There’s even a section on how to identify a vanity-publishing scam. Submit your project idea to Green Hill and they will post out a copy of the book.

About Green Hill
Green Hill as we know it today didn’t get here by accident, though its conception was quite spontaneous.
In 2011, founder David Walters was working in a design agency when he ran into an old acquaintance in the building’s corridor. He was almost 80, and was being encouraged to retire but wasn’t ready. He handed David a scruffy, hand-scrawled stack of paper—stories of his life and his philosophy.
David said, ‘Let’s see if we can publish this.’
From this, Green Hill was born. Ingram’s new Melbourne print plant fired up, and Green Hill became one of their very first customers in Australia. Ingram’s new product offering was a revolutionary new concept—Print-on-Demand (POD). The publishing industry in Australia changed forever. Creating a book no longer required a traditional publisher and authors were empowered to take a different path if they wished.
Green Hill have now published over 2000 books.
Publishing books isn’t as straightforward as most people think. It takes a multidisciplinary team. When publishing a book, Green Hill undertake 120 actions—some simple, some highly involved. These actions are collectively performed by a team with each person bringing a different skill set.
All staff are tertiary qualified across the disciplines of management, business, marketing, design, communications, literature, or writing.
The team is diverse in age, gender, nationality, and world view, yet are united. Interestingly, the median age is just 25 years —that’s young. Green Hill are vibrant, technologically savvy and agile, backed by a combined total of 120 years of publishing experience.
