Context Writers Festival is a free, three-day festival for writers to connect and share new conversations about story, agency, and truth, held on Kaurna Yerta (Adelaide), from 22–24 September. 

Presented in partnership by Writers SA and City of Adelaide and guest curated by emerging South Australian editor and writer Tamara Montina, the 2023 Context Festival features a diverse range of local and national artists.

The program features an opening address by Dominic Guerrera, a Ngarrindjeri and Kaurna person who works as a poet, podcaster and writer; Pip Williams, author of the New York Times bestseller The Dictionary of Lost Words; and Alice Pung OAM, the award-winning author of the memoir Unpolished Gem and new novel Laurinda.
