Scenestr has shone a spotlight on all the great workshops and events coming up at SA Writers Centre!
“Throughout April and May the SA Writers Centre has a line-up of exciting workshops and a festival for writers of all kinds to push themselves to their writing limits.
With a wide range of professional development workshops on their calendar, the Writers Centre will be welcoming writers to explore new skills, enhance their current skills or refine the basics.
For writers aspiring to branch out into the worlds of speculative fiction, such as: fantasy, sci-fi, horror and other-worldly writing, the ‘Spec Fic And Fantasy Writers Fest’ should be a date to remember (7 May). Following the success of last year’s genre-based festivals, the Writers Centre will host exclusive workshops with published fantasy authors including Gillian Rubinstein, Sean Williams and Ben Chandler plus many more. Through the weekend event, attendees will also enjoy networking events, reading performances and industry panel involvement. ”
