Margot McGovern is a YA author with a creative writing PhD from Flinders University. Her debut novel Neverland was shortlisted for the Text Prize and Adelaide Festival Awards for Literature. Over the course of her career she has worked as a book seller, reviewer and manuscript assessor, and runs regular writing workshops. In 2019-2020 she served as Communications Director for LoveOzYA and is a proud advocate for our national youth literature and connecting Australian teens with stories that speak to the diversity of their experience.
