Janeen is an award-winning children’s author whose work ranges from picture books, junior fiction, nonfiction, novels and poetry. Apart from her 70 + books published in trade and educational, she also writes for children’s magazines in Australia and the USA and has had over 100 stories, poems, articles and plays published. Her poems are included in 14 anthologies. Her award-winning titles include, Hoosh! Camels in AustraliaWhere does Thursday go? and Pilawuk: When I was Young. She has received seven Notable Awards and many of her titles have been translated. She has been writing fulltime for over 20 years and lives with her husband in Glenelg, South Australia.
