Time Out Melbourne Seeks Food Writer

Food & Drink Writer, Time Out Melbourne

Are you a gun food writer adept at reviewing restaurants, cafés and pubs? Do you have your finger on the pulse of Melbourne’s dynamic food and drink scene?

Are you an experienced journalist who can deliver clean, accurate copy every time?

Then you may be the person we’re looking for to start contributing to Time Out Melbourne.

You’ve ideally been exploring Melbourne’s best restaurants for a few years – from cheap eats to fine diners. Perhaps you have a background in hospitality, or simply a passion for cooking. Crucially, you understand what you’re eating and can describe it accurately and vividly, painting a picture for Time Out’s readers online and in print.

Over the last three years Time Out has carved out its place as Melbourne’s most popular and trusted source for independent restaurant reviews. Our reviewers visit restaurants in secret and Time Out pays for their meals. We never accept freebies.

The successful candidate/s will be paid on a per-contribution basis. Please forward your CV and two relevant examples of your work to: [email protected]. By relevant examples, we mean your restaurant, café or pub reviews. Sorry, but we’re not interested in reading your interview with Jamie Oliver (although we bet he’s a lovely bloke). http://www.au.timeout.com/melbourne/jobs
