Giveaway! Win one of 5 double passes to see Peterloo

Autumn has its advantages, including the fact that it is prime movie-going weather. There’s no better time to load up on popcorn, get cosy, and watch an epic story unfold on the big screen (even better if that epic story is based on an equally epic book).

With that in mind, we have five double passes to Peterloo, in cinemas from May 16, thanks to ur pals at Transmission Films.  The latest from director Mike Leigh, the film draws on Jacqueline Riding’s Peterloo: The Story of the Manchester Massacre published in HarperCollins in 2018, and tells the story of the Peterloo massacre, a defining moment in the history of British democracy which also played a significant role in the founding of The Guardian newspaper.
