Farewell from our outgoing director Sarah Tooth

Sarah Tooth, outgoing Director, Writers SALiterary friends, it’s time for a special announcement from our beloved leader, Sarah Tooth:

After six wonderful years, it’s time for me to say ‘goodbye’ to Writers SA and our delightful community of writers.

It’s been my absolute pleasure to lead the organisation since 2012, to have worked with dedicated Board Chairs, Board members and staff during that time, and to have met and collaborated with so many of you.

South Australia’s literary community is stronger than ever and I’m personally so proud that Writers SA (and in our previous incarnation as SA Writers Centre) has been able to foster and support that creative energy.

Ahead of my March departure, the Writers SA Board has begun the exciting work of finding the person to lead the organisation into its next chapter. As always, watch our e-news and social media for updates.

I wish you all every success in your writing and I hope you continue to be inspired by all that Writers SA can offer you to realise your creative and professional dreams.

– Sarah.

The team at Writers SA is so thankful for Sarah’s dedication, guidance and leadership over the past six years. We’ll certainly miss her insight and ingenuity, but we’re excited to see where the next stage of her journey takes her! We look forward to collaborating with Sarah’s successor in the months and years to come.
