Join Riverland blog writer Tim Tol for a behind the scenes look into the process of writing a blog.

As documenting our own stories and histories becomes more and more popular, this workshop will give participants the opportunity to learn and understand the fundamentals of blogging. In this workshop, Tim will show participants the behind-the-scenes of his personal experience of regular blogging and encourage the new wave of regional blog writers.

Participants will:

  • Increase their understanding of what a blog is
  • Better understanding of what formats blogs take
  • Take away new skills to use in their own personal blogs
  • Plant future project ideas
  • Connect with local cohort of people interested in blog writing

This workshop is presented by the Writers SA No Limits: Young Regional Writers program, and is aimed at regional writers under 30, however writers all ages and locations are very welcome to attend.

About Tim Tol

Tim has preciously spent 20 years working in Local Government, for the most part in executive leadership roles. But in 2021 he decided to change tack, so he quit his job and is now focused on writing. He is currently working on a book which he hopes to complete later this year and he would love for it to be published. When asked to describe his book in a few words, Tim said it is 'a planner's manifesto to save humanity from itself'. Tim also enjoys writing blogs on a range of topics, and they can be found at www.timothytol.com.
