If you’ve ever wanted to ask hypothetical questions about police procedures, forensic DNA, organised crime or prison conditions for your crime or thriller novel, this is the time to do it! Join three professionals, both active and retired, to figure out if your plot is plausible or if it’s going to give you factual grief with your readers.
An initiative of the City of Adelaide delivered in partnership with Writers SA
About This Session
It's not often writers get to pick the brains of law enforcement or DNA forensic analysts to answer tricky questions about the body that just turned up in your book but now's the chance! The disclaimer is that none of our panellists can answer questions about real crimes that are ongoing and will not likely speak in absolutes so please keep your questions hypothetical and perhaps offer a warning if it's particularly gory. The session is designed to be both fun and informative.
Venue: Adelaide City Library, 3 Rundle Place, 77 Rundle Mall, Adelaide
Please contact us at [email protected] if you wish to discuss accessibility, if you are Deaf and require an Auslan interpreter, or if you have registered but need to cancel your registration if you can no longer attend. Places are strictly limited to venue capacity.
