Applications close on Monday 31 July 2017. The Award of $3,000, split into junior and senior categories,  is offered by Psychologists for Peace, for books for children published between 1 July 2015 and 30 June 2017 with a theme or main character(s) encouraging the peaceful resolution of conflict and/or promoting peace at the global, local or interpersonal level. Issues dealt with in previous winning entries include bullying, racism, sexism, domestic violence and abuse.
